Rudhir was born and brought up in the beautiful tea gardens of Assam & this infused in him a deep love for nature. After completing his graduation, he earned his daily bread as a PR executive. But it was only after he won a prize in a poetry contest organised by the Poetry Society of India in 2008 that he decided to take up writing seriously. After completing his Masters in Development Studies from IIT, Guwahati, he worked for some time in the development sector which was followed by a stint in the advertising sector. 'Delhi Delights' is his first novel. He is working on his second which is tentatively titled 'The last standoff at Saraighat'.
